family hauler burban

picked this 1991 suburban up for $1200 in Coalville, Utah. 350 engine 4L80E transmission both were rebuilt 4 years ago but only have 3,000 miles on them, 3/4 ton, 33" tires. It has made 3 trips to cabo san lucas for a month at a time for surfing, up and down the california coast surfing (hence the rust on the top), hauled a camp trailer to new orleans, and started out as a BLM rig.

this was on the way home, we stopped in evanston for lunch. it got 21MPG on the way home.

it was a little warm coming home so i changed the thermostat, belt, hoses, fan clutch, and noticed i needed a new tier rod end.

this is the contractor box in the back

exit contractor box

for now we have 2 totes strapped in the back till i build a storage box of my own back there

picked up an awning on a group buy, built brackets for it last saurday

and we used it last sunday at the river

lost dog road July 1st

It was hot so we headed for the river (although not sure if it was still river or beginning of the reservoir). This is a long, winding, bumpy, dusty, road that i don't think we will be taking much lol. Of course when we got out there the wind picked up and it clouded over.

the new suburban well new to us
