family hauler burban

picked this 1991 suburban up for $1200 in Coalville, Utah. 350 engine 4L80E transmission both were rebuilt 4 years ago but only have 3,000 miles on them, 3/4 ton, 33" tires. It has made 3 trips to cabo san lucas for a month at a time for surfing, up and down the california coast surfing (hence the rust on the top), hauled a camp trailer to new orleans, and started out as a BLM rig.

this was on the way home, we stopped in evanston for lunch. it got 21MPG on the way home.

it was a little warm coming home so i changed the thermostat, belt, hoses, fan clutch, and noticed i needed a new tier rod end.

this is the contractor box in the back

exit contractor box

for now we have 2 totes strapped in the back till i build a storage box of my own back there

picked up an awning on a group buy, built brackets for it last saurday

and we used it last sunday at the river
